Unaware Sue

In the Tower of Heroes, a glittering complex dedicated to innovation, a team of brilliant scientists - Anna, Léo, Sara, Max and Zoé - were testing molecular reduction technology. Their goal: to revolutionize storage by miniaturizing matter. But an overload in the reactor caused a silent explosion. In an instant, the five researchers were reduced to the size of crumbs, barely visible to the naked eye.

Disoriented but determined, they set out to find help. After an arduous journey through ventilation ducts and floor cracks, they reached the tower's gym. There, Sue, a heroine, was finishing her intense workout. To the tiny scientists, she was a colossus, her imposing figure dwarfing the light. Her skin glistened with sweat, and each step made the ground vibrate like an earthquake.
Sue, exhausted, collapsed to the floor with a sigh. "My feet are killing me," she grumbled, tugging at her worn sneakers.

The scientists, who were exploring the floor to signal their presence, were trapped. When Sue removed her shoe, a puff of hot, nauseating air engulfed them. The damp sock, stuck to her foot, gave off a suffocating odor. "It's an infection!" exclaimed Sara, while Max, disgusted, tried to shelter behind a speck of dust.

The worst was yet to come. Sue pulled off her sock, revealing a gigantic foot, red and clammy with sweat. The scientists found themselves trapped between the abandoned sock and the inside of the shoe, a sweaty, stinking hell. Anna slipped on a drop of perspiration, landing against the rough wall of the sock. "We're going to die of asphyxiation!" she screamed, terrified.

Léo, panicking, tried to climb over the edge of the shoe, but the slippery surface sent him tumbling. Zoé, the more ingenious of the two, shouted, "We've got to reach her skin! She has to feel us!"

But Sue's every move complicated their mission. When she wiggled her toes, a jolt threw Max against a wall of sweat-soaked fabric. The group, disgusted and terrified, struggled to survive this involuntary torture. Sue, unaware of their presence, massaged her aching foot, nearly crushing the scientists with every gesture.
Unaware of their presence, Sue sighed after her massage. "Well, enough dragging," she said, grabbing her shoe.

The scientists screamed helplessly as the giant sneaker toppled over them. Darkness engulfed them as Sue slipped on the shoe, trapping the tiny researchers in a hell of heat and stench. Sue's foot, still clammy, came down like a press, crushing Anna and Sara under its weight. Léo, Zoé and Max, trapped in the folds of the sole, suffocated under the pressure and the unbearable smell. Sue's every step as she rose to leave sealed their fate, crushing them in the darkness.

Sue left the gym, unaware that she had just condemned the scientists to an agonizing death. In the Tower of Heroes, the team's disappearance remained a mystery. Their research into miniaturization was abandoned, and Sue's shoe, a mute witness to the tragedy, continued to accompany her exploits, without anyone discovering the remains of the brilliant researchers crushed inside.
