Lois was a scientist in what many would call a macroverse.
She invented a shrinking chemical, but found herself shrinking infinitely after being accidentally exposed to it. In fact, she eventually shrank down so much that she actually slipped into a micro universe.
However, she still didn't stop shrinking. She ended up shrinking out of that universe into another micro universe.
When she entered this universe, she was so large that it almost defied comprehension. However, she once again found herself continuing to shrink and is now so small that the native people need a microscope to see her.
She is only seconds away from being too small to be seen as she prepares to enter the next micro universe so that the process can repeat itself again... and again... and again...
