Tamamo no Mae's body is maintained by the magic of her master, so she changes her body's height according to the amount of magic power remaining within her master at any given time. For example, when her master is only casually conserving their strength, Tamamo shrinks to about one tenth her usual size, but when his needs become desperate enough, she can shrink as far as a hundredth of her original size.
No matter how small she gets, Tamamo no Mae will continue to serve her favorite master.
Master loves her very much.
