The trip that Sakura took to reach the Emiya residence was not the easiest for the cursed and shrunken Saber, but the small blonde woman endured every bump and shuffle of items in the purse with stoicism and building hope. This final trial of endurance eventually paid off, as the purple-haired girl did arrive to meet Shirou, and as soon as the bag was set down Saber was able to climb up out of it.
As if it were destiny, as soon as Saber revealed herself, Shirou looked down and cleanly spotted her, and had no problems identifying her. The reduced Servant's Master was overjoyed to see her again, even in this shrunken state, and promptly swept the blonde up into a massive hug. In the meantime, Sakura was shocked at the stowaway in her bag, but once she got over it, called Rin to get her over to help.
A few hours later after a fairly thorough examination, Rin had good and bad news. The bad news was that the spell placed upon Saber was far beyond her ability to remove out of hand, so for now Saber was stuck at this size. On the other hand, the good news was that she determined that the spell keeping Saber shrunk was not a permanent one, and so it would wear off in a few days at most. This was a relief to both Saber and Shirou, the latter of whom was letting the former sit upon his shoulder to both know where she was at all times and to also let the Servant be a part of the conversation.
With that worry out of the way, the pair were free to relax and celebrate Saber's return after her prior kidnapping, something that Saber was soon very pleased about. Shirou promptly began to cook up a storm for the hungry king, and Saber was more than happy to consume his cooking. As she chewed her way through her second plate, knife and fork wielded like weapons to battle her hunger, Saber also marveled at the fact that for once, she might actually be able to eat until she was full without eating her Master out of house and home. She privately mused that perhaps this curse was not ALL bad.
