As Huntress searched the files, she placed the heroines in one tank and the villainesses in another. Unbeknownst to Huntress, Blackfire and her sister Starfire had entered: Starfire to defend Huntress, and Blackfire to steal the device.
As the fight ensued, another blast went off, this time hitting a mirror and reflecting back onto the three. Starfire and Huntress were able to get the others out before they became too small, while Blackfire fell in and was trapped with the others, her clothes in a heap on the floor outside her new prison.
The communicators still worked and could call for backup, but the only problem was they were on the table and no one could fly up to get them.
